All Rointe radiators include energy-saving features that help reduce consumption, like Open Windows.

This function is activated when the product probe detects a decrease in the ambient temperature of at least 4°C within a 30 minute time period. It then automatically activates the Anti-frost mode for a period of 2 hours, preventing excessive consumption.

Complete control from your sofa.

The infrared BASIC Control remote arose from the need to allow complete control of all Rointe products via a single device. Offering the possibility of creating special programs and schedules for the radiators, towel rails and electric water heaters, as well as controlling the temperature or viewing the active modes of these products.

This intelligent remote control allows you to access the editable pre-programming of your Rointe heating installation quickly, through the access buttons. It will help save energy by managing switch on/off of your products and heat according to your needs.

Easy programming

The new access menu on the Kyros radiator has been designed by Rointe’s R & D department for easy programming. Using smart icons, you can access all the functions quickly to keep your heating perfectly programmed.

The Kyros radiator includes a compact keypad with mechanical buttons and a 1.77″ TFT screen for easier control.

Save energy by setting custom limits.

Kyros radiators now include a new operating mode, User mode, ideal for installations in public places such as hotels or schools, only allowing users to modify the radiator temperature within a limited range.

This function allows you to set a personalised temperature range with a minimum and maximum temperature and locked by a password. It’s a useful function as it restricts the selectable temperatures and avoids energy waste.

What does this mean?
By default, the temperatures limits for the Eco and Comfort working modes are 7.5ºC and 30ºC above respectively. Thanks to User Mode, we can modify these limits by establishing new ones (such as 10ºC and 21ºC).

For example, setting 21ºC for the Comfort mode and 18ºC for the Eco mode, the user can only move between temperatures in this range. 

What is this function for?
This function helps saves energy by preventing temperature selection above 21ºC (in the example shown) by anyone who interacts with the product. Thanks to the establishment of these new limits, you can avoid the incorrect use of your Kyros radiators, which could cause an increase in consumption and energy bills.

⁽¹⁾ In tests performed by independent laboratories comparing under the same parameters a radiator with Fuzzy Logic Energy Control technology and another with Optimizer Energy Plus (first energy control technology by Rointe), a difference in energy consumption of 6.3% was obtained. This saving allows the radiators with Fuzzy Logic Energy Control to use an average power of only 38% of their nominal power that we define as equivalent consumption coefficient. If we multiply the nominal power by the equivalent coefficient of consumption, we obtain the effective power.
